The Bagni Māsino Thermal Hotel *** offers

· An Alpine environment rich with century-old fir and beech woods and surrounded by high mountains protecting from the winds and keeping temperatures mild. The many sunny days, average humidity, pure and parfumed air make stays relaxing and unforgetable.

· Silence: the closest village, San Martino, is 5 kms away.

· A historical spa. The first written record dates back to 1462 when the Lord of Morbegno, Morosio from Vimercate, invited to the hot springs Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan. In the XVIth century the novelist Mattia Bandello often visited Bagni Māsino and wrote about it and Andrea Baccio, in his De Balneis, published in Venice in 1571, praises the Māsino waters for their therapeutical effects. The hotel is connected to the thermal baths through a covered wooden early XXth century bridge stretching over the Māsino stream.

· Permanent medical assistance all through the hotel season.

· An indoor thermal swimming pool, with hydromassage, fitness centre, meeting rooms, tennis and bocce fields.

· The possibility to practise rock climbing and trekking in internationally known sites, such as the Pizzo Badile, Cengalo, the Mello Valley. Or, more simply, beautiful walks in the woods and to the Omio and Giannetti mountain huts, respectively 2.30 and 4 hours away from the hotel.

· Varied gourmet cuisine, including both local and international dishes.

· Dietetic menus.
